Sony has announced that, effective April 16, 2025, PlayStation Plus subscription prices will increase across all tiers in 15 Latin American countries. The affected nations include Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.
The revised pricing structure is as follows:
PlayStation Plus Essential:
- 1 month: $7.99
- 3 months: $20.99
- 12 months: $64.99
PlayStation Plus Extra:
- 1 month: $11.99
- 3 months: $33.99
- 12 months: $107.99
PlayStation Plus Deluxe:
- 1 month: $13.99
- 3 months: $39.99
- 12 months: $124.99
Sony attributes these adjustments to “global market conditions,” stating that the changes will enable the company to “continue offering high-quality games and value-added benefits” to subscribers.
The new rates will affect subscribers at their next billing cycle. Those considering a subscription may wish to act before April 16 to take advantage of the existing pricing.
